Mud Vulcano from Buzau

Today, I will take you on a trip to Buzau, Romania, and show you some exciting phenomena.

I will take you to mud volcanoes. Mud volcanoes are formations created by geo-exudes mud or slurries, water, and gases. They don t produce lava. As you will see in the pictures below, they just spit some mud. Mud volcanoes can erupt slowly or suddenly, it can be accompanied by emanations of gas or oil. In Romania, the mud volcanoes were first discovered at Berca, Buzau by the French H.Cognand in 1867 with the occasion of oil prospecting.
Mud volcanoes phenomena are known all over the world. They appear because of the eruption of natural gases, seismic movements, or post-volcanic emanations.
