Mud Vulcano from Buzau

Today,I will take you in a trip in Buzau, Romania and I will show you some interesting fenomen let’say.

I will take you to mud volcanoes. Mud volcanoes are formations created by geo-exudes mud or slurries, water and gases. They don t produce lava, they just spit some mud as you will see in the pictures bellow. Mud volcanoes can erupt slowly or suddenly, it can be accompanied by emanations of gas or oil. In Romania the mud volcanoes were first discovered at Berca, Buzau by the French H.Cognand in 1867 with the occasion of oil prospecting.

Mud volcanoes fenomen is known all over the world .They appear because of the eruption of natural gases, seismic movements or post-volcanic emanations.
