Today’s trip will take us a bit further, not to Romania. We will go to Hungary in Szeged to see a beautiful palace.
The Reök palace is one of the most beautiful buildings from Szeged. It was constructed in 1907 by Ede Magyar, a famous Art Nouveau Hungarian architect responsible for many other beautiful Szeget buildings.
Today the place is an art center that can be visited. You will probably love the beautiful staircases from inside the building, which you can admire in the pictures. After Ede Magyar drawings, the staircases are adorned with iron flowers made by Pál Fekete. Unfortunately, I don’t have too many photos of these, but for sure it is a place that deserves to be visited. I hope you will enjoy it!
Beautifully written article about an architectural gem. It’s nice that people discover small architectural treasures and report on them. Thank you.
